Create file on NON SAP Server From ABAP

Hi Folks,

I have requirement like to create a file on NON SAP server from ABAP.

e.g. I have Tableau server and I have to create file on Tableau server...

Is it possible....I guess in ABAP nothing is impossible...

AFAIK Tableau Server has a BW plugin thru OLAP, but you should perform some search on tableau forums too.

Yes i checked it and plugin is available, but how can i create a simple text file on Tableau server....

Meanwhile i will search on Tableau forms....

Can't Basis/ Network team map the remote directory on ECC server? That would be easiest path.

You can push your SAP data directly to Tableau Server, I guess this is what you are looking for.
