Can anyone just help me to know how to copy a PDF file from the AL11 to my local drive say C drive.

Go to t code SE24.

Try method FILE_COPY of class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES.

Aslo you can try t code CG3Y to download data from application server.
