changing the size on a image in se78/se71

hello,

I am trying to change the size of a signature image that we have for our checks. in se78 the resolution is 600 bpi and a size of 4.50 X 2.20 cm. it is printing to big on the checks and the business wants to make the signature smaller. I found here in the forum a way to do this with se71 using the following

BITMAP ACCOUNT_MANAGER_SIGN OBJECT GRAPHICS ID BMAP TYPE BMON <b>DPI '610'</b>

we have tried various numbers, 400,500,590,610,700,1000 and the cannot get it to print smaller.

Is this the correct way to do this? if not, can someone tell me what I need to do to make this smaller. also I do not have the image on my pc so i cannot upload a new image. I did find on this forum a Z program that will take the image from SAP and put it on my machine but I have not tried it yet.

thanks in advance for the help

Hello,

I think the only way to have it smaller is by uploading a new smaller image....but if you dont have it try getting the image by capturing the output you have with the key print screen on your keyboard, then paste it into "Paint" and edit the size.

bye

Hi Timothy,

Change the DPI value when you upload the signature image through SE78 (or) Copy the signature image into Paint and make it smaller to fit into the layout and save this image and upload this saved image through SE78..

Thanks,

Vinay
