Hi jadhavsaurabh338,

Based on my previous experience, you can reassign a canceled job to another user without releasing it first. This can be done by going to the job's details in the system and selecting the option to reassign the job to a different user. You may need proper authorization to do this. Even if a job has a canceled status, it can still be reassigned to another user in SAP. The canceled status simply means that the job has been terminated and will no longer be processed by the system, but the job record itself still EXISTS and can be EDITED, including reassigning it to a different user:

The specific steps for reassigning a canceled job in SAP will vary depending on the module or functionality you are using. However, generally you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the relevant job management module in SAP, such as the job overview or job scheduling area.
  2. Search for the canceled job that you want to reassign.
  3. Open the job details by clicking on the job number or name.
  4. Look for an option to "Reassign" or "Change User" (this can be in the menu or in the job details screen)
  5. Select the user that you want to reassign the job to.
  6. Confirm the reassignment by clicking on the 'Save' or 'OK' button.

Always Keep in mind that you may need a proper authorization to perform this action.
