I am new to ABAP programming and exploring all option to get hands on I dont have SAP market place id.
So like any other programming language people will looking for IDE that support ABAP or platform to write , compile and execute the programs.
There are few ways to start this
1. Installing trial version of NW to get hand on ABAP but still program will always be local.
2. Installing MiniSAP which is provided with purchase of book
3. Purchasing SAP system access based on amazon cloud
4. Getting SAP system access from SAP training institiute.
I am going with option 1 currently will update the progress currently stuck with Wrong OS version . Hence downloading vbox to get it sorted
If there is any other option please advise.

Ashok

you can srart learning ABAP through freely available pdf books on google..
And there are websites (I may not mention the names since 3rd party) that give you free acees to SAP (IDES) system.

Yeah there are few sites which provide Free IDES access to a Central IDES system like
https://www.consolut.com/en/s/sap-ides-access.html
One more I have seen which provides pretty fast access but am not able to recall the same.

Hi Ashok,
Well i would say its important to understand the concepts of NW AS ABAP, find a suitable book that covers most of the basics to get in to business.
To have access to an live SAP system as mentioned above in the thread.
There you can request for a IDES login system and then you can start to practice ABAP.
Good luck.

Hi Ashok,
I would also advise you to perform more coding . The more you practice with your system you can get good knowledge and it will also help you understanding what you read.
