It doesn't matter if you use code 39 type 1 or type 2 or code 128.

Two possible solutions since you're using smartforms, you may follow either one depending on the circumstances:

1. Make sure that the printer supports barcode printing. if you're just passing the value as " font type = barcode" like "font type = ariel". In this case when printer receives the command as font type = barcode it will convert into barcode lines just before printing. You need to ask your IT guy to install the barcode fonts supplied by printer manufacturer into the harddrive of the printer.

2. Use SAPs new barcode technology where in the barcode is directly converted to a high quality image and attached to smartform and this makes it printer independent.

Hi Chintan,

You can try with device type 'RC001U18'.

Hi Chintan,

Can you try with device type JPRPDL3 - RICOH SP9/10PRO/NX RPDL SERIES by making its 'Z' and changing Driver / Printer Driver ( as per your printer model ).

Anmol Saxena.
