ABAP local trial system for ADT 2.19 ?

Hi,

for a CodeJam on ABAP on Eclipse, i have installed ADT 2.19.

Now i'm trying to connect an ABAP system to ADT/Eclipse.

I don't have a useful ABAP system in my SAP Logon, but is there a trial version i can install for this use ?

The requirements for ADT2.19 are

SAP NetWeaver 7.31 SP4 and higher

SAP NetWeaver 7.40 SP5

Hi Hans,

the document also describes where you can get a trial version of SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP. Maybe the easiest way would be to get a trial system as virtual appliance. How you can get one is described in the document.

P.S.: When you test your installation for CodeJam, it is fine if you can choose the system connection in the New ABAP Project wizard and the wizard sends a message that your system is not compatible.

you can use ADT 2.19 also against an older system.

You can use an 7.4 SP02 trial which you can get via Amazon Web Services. Please find the details in this blog post:
