[Intro] This is a special Business Unleased edition of the Developer News for February 14th, 2025.

Welcome to this special edition of the SAP Developer News focused on the Business Unleashed event,

which took place on Thursday, February 13th. I'm actually recording this live as the event is going on behind

me. I'm watching it here from my home office while we have Rich Heilman and Josh Bentley live at the event

in New York. They'll bring you some updates directly from the event here in just a few minutes. If you missed

the Business Unleashed event, we have all the links to the announcements, the replay, and some of the

demos that were shown in the show notes, as always. The developer advocates will be giving you some

updates from the event as well as what some of the announcements mean to developers. We have all kinds

of great new stuff. around the business suite, the business data cloud, the Databricks partnership, and the

Joule agentic announcements. But without further ado, why don't we go over to Rich and Josh live in New

York from the event itself? So over to you, Rich and Josh.

[Josh & Rich] Hey, everybody. Josh Bentley and Rich Heilman. We're super happy to be here in the SAP

Hudson & Arts Office in New York City because SAP just announced the SAP Business Data Cloud, a fully-

managed sass solution that unifies and governs all SAP data and seems to connect the third-party data. As

an evolution of our industry -leading data planning and analytic solutions, SAP Business Data Cloud brings

together SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Business Warehouse, right? This is all with a

unified experience that delivers transformational insights across all lines of business. SAP also announced a

landmark partnership with Databricks. It's pretty big news. That brings the power of Databricks directly into

SAP Business Data Cloud. When you add this and all the power of our SAP data broadens, together it's

getting SAP developers and SAP in-users and entire ecosystem of SAP and third-party data sources in one

environment. It's super exciting, right? As you can tell by all the people coming through, the announcement's

about to kick off. So also announcing today is Joule Agent Builder. We all know how important AI agents

have become And coming soon, developers can leverage Joule's agent builder from SAP Build, which allows

developers to create and deploy custom agents that are more powerful and impactful because they're

uniquely grounded in the business processes. So in a few easy steps, you can define your agent's purpose

by describing it in a few short sentences. Joule's Agent Builder will then walk you through the rest of the

process of assigning the business processes via the SAP Knowledge Graph, connecting to the relevant data,

defining the associated skills, as well as connecting to other agents, right? So with this new capabilities, I

see a lot of possibilities for developers in the coming year. So stay tuned for more information on Joule's

Agent Builder and check out the link below for a quick demo. You know, I bet to Witalij is going to have a lot

[Nora] I just finished watching the Business Unleash broadcast, and in case you missed it here, the most

important AI announcements. So first of all, you will be able to use the AI capabilities of Databricks within

SAP Business Data Cloud. And the second big announcement was that SAP will also be developing a

system of collaborative agents that help you with your business problems. And obviously, we know that you

might also want to build your own agents. And you can do that using the agent builder in Joule's Studio,

where you already can build your own Joule skills. You will be able to also create your own Joule agents. I

think that's super cool. I'm definitely going to try it out soon as that's available and share all the news with

you.

[Antonio] Hola, SAP Developers. This week we launched a new SAP Techbytes video series on the SAP

Developers YouTube channel. The video series will focus on how you can connect everything with SAP

Integration Suite. In the first video published, Desiree shows us how you can connect an SAP S/4 Hana

Cloud system with Salesforce by leveraging pre-built content available in the SAP Business Accelerator Hub.

If you want to learn more about the video series, check out Florence blockposts in SAP Community. Also,

API management now has a new feature called predictions, which will help you manage your API traffic

more efficiently. When enabling the predictions feature, you will be able to view API call predictions and

trends in the analytics dashboard. The forecast will be based on historical data from your tenant. Check out
