The πŸ‘‰ SAP Community Escape House has a new addition!!

Dan_Wroblewski_8-1742908453979.png

We've built a garage for our workshop to build all kinds of stuff using SAP Build. Use your wits and knowledge about SAP Build – specifically SAP Build Process Automation – to try to escape.

WARNING: It will be really tough to escape – you have been warned! So I will be providing tips throughout the month to help you through, so subscribe to this post.

For this year, all SAP Developer Challenges created by the Developer Advocates will happen in the SAP Community Escape House (shout out to @nicoschoenteich for his amazing creativity). Each month we will unlock a new room in the house with a specific focus. Completing a challenge means successfully escaping the room by solving a series of coding – or no-code πŸ˜‰ – tasks/questions. This month is all about one of the tools inside SAP Build.

Here are our previous challenges:

rule.png

Visit the SAP Community Escape House and enter your numeric SAP Community user ID.

Dan_Wroblewski_0-1742906241850.png

If you don't know your user ID, click Need Help? This will display a link to your community settings page.

Dan_Wroblewski_3-1742906571171.png

Then you will see your ID here:

Dan_Wroblewski_4-1742906756998.png

Once you see the SAP Community Escape House, select the SAP Build garage.

Dan_Wroblewski_5-1742906905228.png

The user interface of an escape room includes the room itself as well as a terminal. You can click the objects in the room to receive tips.

Dan_Wroblewski_7-1742908411298.png

Like in a real (physical) escape room, you will have to try out a few things and explore the room until you receive helpful tips and, eventually, instructions. These tips and instructions are printed in the terminal next to the room.

The terminal is also used to submit solutions to tasks. Read the instructions you receive carefully to understand how.

Dan_Wroblewski_0-1742913730558.png

If you successfully escape the room (you will know when that happens), you will receive a badge in the SAP Community – and the unending esteem of your fellow SAP developers, business users and implementers. We will assign the badges once the challenge closes.

Good luck!

😺

@Sabarim_07 If there's something specific you are having trouble with, let me know. The Mass Maintenance of Service Orders would require a destination to a DMS service and a destination to an S/4HANA system using a user with permission to the Service Orders OData service.

I have been able to get it work -- it is actually pretty cool, using processes, automations, DMS, S/4HANA, Web Call and script activities and more. I will write a blog or do a video on this sometime.

Let me know if I can help you in any way.

@vishalakshmi You do not have to install the agent for this challenge.

Are you saying that when you click "Go to RBSC Portal" you get the 500 error? What landscape are you on? I'm not really an expert on RBSC, which is not specific to SAP Build Process Automation. It is used to deliver software and check licenses and export controls and perhaps other details. It took me a while to figure out what I needed to do, which I think was more complicated because I am at SAP. For you, you should just need an S-user and a technical user (which I think you create after having an S-user).
