Greetings fellow Builders!

The first half of the year brought significant developments to SAP Build Apps. Among the highlights, we continued to improve integration across the low-code portfolio by enabling consumption of SAP Build Process Automation and simplified deployments to SAP Build Work Zone. We also introduced further enhancements to backend projects, including user authorizations and data exports. To see all the latest product innovations from SAP Build, check out the Q2 release highlights.

Commercial update

Recently, we updated the SAP Build Apps enterprise pricing, which many of our customers have been waiting for. The new commercial model includes dedicated end-user pricing, which is significantly lower than before, and an update on the base package to include three tenants. With these changes, we hope to provide greater flexibility for our customers and make it even easier to get started right away! Check out the updated pricing on SAP.com.

SAP Build Apps, free edition

As many of you know, SAP Build Apps is the enterprise-grade evolution of AppGyver, the no-code platform which SAP acquired in 2021. Since the startup days, hundreds of thousands of developers have used the AppGyver Community Edition to create applications for their hobbies, student projects, small businesses, and more.

Recently, we officially renamed the Community Edition to SAP Build Apps, free edition. The free edition continues to be a free-of-charge tool with the same core capabilities and is a great starting point for anyone looking to learn the basics of visual development. This edition is a separate offering from SAP Build Apps on BTP Trial or Free Tier, which give you more access to enterprise features, such as backend development and BTP destinations for integrating with SAP systems.
