While Loading Master data from BW Info Object

Hi,

What is the difference between the two options

"set filters by Attributes AND Hierarchies" and

"set filters by Attributes OR Hierarchies"

when we load master data attributes/texts from BW Info Object.

can someone please explain in detail with example.

Hi Rishi,

If you use "set filters by Attributes AND Hierarchies" it will load data with logical AND operation on selected hierarchy node and attribute list in set selection.

If you use "set filters by Attributes OR Hierarchies" it will load data with logical OR operation

on selected hierarchy node and attribute list in set selection.

Thanks for reply, and sorry for my late reply, I know about this basic concept, what was going in my was little advanced, and i got confused to it, that's why i post this question.

Question was regarding if we have to load data from two BW infobjects lets say obj1 and obj2 ,

obj1 one contains full master data but not the hierarchy, obj2 was a subset of obj1 and contains hierarchies. So what was going in my mind is there any way this can be used with AND/OR conditions. Later it got clear understanding of it.

Yes, at that time i was not having clear idea of that question, hence i was not able to explain it properly.

I was looking if there is any option regarding the AND/OR option for ATTRIBUTES and HIERARCHIES, from different bw infoobjects.
