SAP GUI 720 problem

Hi experts,

I have installed GUI 720 and whenever i am opening gui it shows " Rune time Error"

It doesn't allow any tcode to run, can anyone guide how i can solve this issue.

I am also getting security pop-up which asking for permission to allow file read.

Please guide

Hi Vikrant,

If you still have issues after following Jude's recommendation, you may need to do a clean reinstall.

Steps:

1)deinstall the sapgui with following command line in START -> RUN
    nwsapsetup /uninstall /all
  *you need administrative user rights
   Please kindly clear your recycle bin.

2) if the folded below exists, please delete the folder
      C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sap Shared

3) delete all other folders where the sapgui was installed
   c:\program files\sap\Frontend
   C:\Program Files\SAP\Business Explorer
   C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\SAP Front En
   C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Business
      Explorer

4) delete then all "SAP"     entries in the windows  registry in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDLLs
( Please ONLY the SAP  entries )

5) Remove existing MSXML4 via the control panel

Now you have a "clean" Workstation. Rebbot the PC.

Install MSXML4 and then SAPGui.

Hello Vikrant,

Did you reinstall the GUI again?

Make sure you have MSXML4 SP3 installed before reinstalling it.
