Reverse Sign Property of EPM Addins

Hi,

We need to flip the sign of data in BPC using the Sheet Options flag "Use Reverse sign Property". As per EPM user guide, it suggests to be used with BW reverse sign property. We have not found anything on BW for setting up reverse sign. And if its true, we would also like to know if changes in BW, has any impact on database.

Looking for solution on how to make reverse sign work.

Hi Chaudhari,

As per my understanding your trying to reverse the sign of the data posted?

The solution is to write a BADI and call in default logic to make it dynamic.

Thanks for reply. I understand we can write BADI for reversing the signs by multiplying signed data with -1. But this would flip signs in database also.

The Reverse sign property is new feature of SAP BPC 10.0 with SP 9. From documents i understand it works in combination of BW property. Also this works in same way as BEX/Query designer reverse sign property which alters signs only in report and not the database.

I have tried the options with multiple combinations in Sheet options of BPC, but nothing has helped yet. Appreciate your response, but we are still looking for solutions.

Please let us know if you find any thing on this.
