Hello Experts,
Would really appreciate if someone can share their experience for Password Self Service.
Is it really necessary that all user id (i.e.all ECC user id's) should exist in GRC system and have access, though this may increase licensing cost.
So, would it be possible to set up PSS in a way where end user can directly reset their password by accessing Password reset URL authenticating via LDAP or any other way.

Hi Mohit,
you can use EUL feature to avoid creating users(eg. ECC), on GRC system.Make sure that ECC is in the list of one of the systems, in User authentication data sources.

Thanks Gretchen and Plaban for your prompt response.
I have now configured LDAP connector as Source of authentication and user can reset their password through EUL. Just need to make sure that User Sync job completed.

Mohit,
Do not assume that the licensing for GRC Access Control is based on user counts in the GRC system. That is a matter for you to discuss with your SAP account executive, but that assumption is not necessarily the case.

Gretchen
