We have a scenario wherein the end users are submitting CUP Request for Id creation without specifying any Roles to it.
When Users are submitting requests Default Roles (without any approver) are automatically assigned to the Request.
When the request is moving to First Stage, approver is assigning few more roles to the CUP Request.
At the Final stage, Final Approvers are approving/rejecting Roles.
Issue is that if roles are rejected by approvers then also Id of the end user should get created in backend with Default Roles.
But the id is not getting created.
Please help!!!
In continuation to above issue, would like to explain further, we have not added any approver to any of the Roles.
End User Submits a NEW HIRE blank Request. Default Role is automatically assigned to the request based on the Functional Area of the end user.
Based on the Request Type it goes to first approver who based on the Business Process of the end user assigns some roles to CUP Request and approves it.
Based on Business Process of Role it goes to Final Approver who either approves/rejects the role.
Now, what is happening is whenever First Approver assigns any Role to CUP Request and approves it it goes to Final Approver. If Final Approver also approves the Role then User Id is created with both the roles i.e. one assigned by first approver and other default role.
But when Final Approver rejects the role for whom he is approver then Id is not getting created, ideally User Id should still get created with Default Role only.
Third scenario is when CUP Request is coming to First Approver with Default Roles in it and first approver is approving it without assigning any other roles then it's giving error that No Approver Found for Second i.e. Final Stage.
I have checked the option of Auto Approve Roles without Approves in Role Selection.
Please help what's wrong!!!

You may configure "Escape Route" under Workflow . Enable the option in Escape Route Config .
In the Escape Route conditions , select "Approver not found " or if its too specific for a stage alone " Approver not found at a stage" . Select the path and stage where it should get routed under this condition. [ you can also create a special path and stage for this scenario ]
Note: The CAD for this stage can be "No stage" . However since this setting is Global , you can also make the CAD to point to a security administrator ,so that the request can be reviewed once before provisioning.
Reason behind - Say ,Some critical roles were added in the second stage for which Role approvers were not set in CUP . In such cases ,You may want to review the request before doing auto provisioning.
Hope this helps.
