central system got stuck

Dear SAP Basis dude,

My central instance got stuck due to Journal receiver were not cleared In i series machine because of the short of memory occur in CI ,due to short of memory in CI it  will take the   resource of APP Server.Due to this reason whole system got stuck . No user able to login in the system.

By deleting the journal receiver from iseries machine where we have central instance ,manual we have delete the Journal receiver it will take 3-4 hrs to delete the JR form CI after that system get up and user able login . we sort out the issue smoothly but time taken process by using some command in the central instance .Now the system is perfectly fine.
