Thursday July 8: The five strong UK Cycle 4 Youth team left the UK SAP offices this morning in a blaze of sunshine on what is predicted to be the hottest day of the year.

Suncream and water bottles in hand they set off on their first leg - an 80mile ride down to Ashford in Kent where they will board the Eurostar and continue their 5 day journey through France and Germany onto SAP Headquarters in Walldorf next Wednesday where they will join the other teams from France, Belgium, Italy and Germany for the celebration event.
Their goal? To raise money for three charities working with disadvantaged young people in Europe and Africa. And to complete the longest ride of all the teams at 894 km - that's 47 hours in the saddle.
This is the smallest team taking part in the Cycle 4 Youth ride this year and has the added challenge of not knowing each other.
We wish them all the best - go team UK!
