SAP Recognized Expertise is a designation that is awarded to partners within the SAP PartnerEdge program. This designation helps customers and prospects understand a partner’s specialization and depth of experience and expertise in implementing in a chosen SAP industry, or cross industry solution. It helps partners to differentiate their unique specialization in SAP solutions and industries.
Recognized Expertise is Transition Path to New Competency Framework
SAP has announced that SAP Recognized Expertise designation will evolve into a new competencies framework that will be available sometime in 2022. Having an SAP Recognized Expertise is an important layer that will make it easier for partners to transition to the new framework and get the appropriate competencies awarded.
And, having the right expertise, experience and specialization are key factors that are needed to drive customer success throughout the entire customer journey. There are more than 30 solutions and 20 industries available.

Latest Updates Announced July 2021:
Partners with current SAP Recognized Expertise designation logos can continue to use them until the end of the year, and SAP encourages you to use the new updated SAP Recognized Expertise font treatment logos as they may be more relevant to customers and prospects. The logos have been available as of August 1. Access the new communications guidelines.
New Requirements Adjustments for Specific Recognized Expertise Categories
Also announced in July, we have adjusted the solution consultant qualification requirements and completed project requirements to be cloud-focused for the Recognized Expertise categories effective August 1, 2021. Pease help ensure that your company is meeting the new requirements.
