The latest Spiceworks “State of SMB” Survey has been published and shows positive news for SMB’s IT budgets.
The research indicates a 7% increase in the amount of funding available for technology investment, compared to the first half of the year.The company found that the average annual SMB IT budget is £102,000, up from the £96,000 reported in May. Allocations for EMEA budgets are identical to plans worldwide with 40% going to hardware, 34% going to software, and 26% going to IT services.
An area of high growth was cloud computing, with 53% now using cloud based services.During the first half of 2013, 73% of SMBs plan to have implemented cloud services.
