This is another great initiative! SAP Hellas, along with The Hellenic Initiative, the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation and Boehringer Ingelheim Ellas are supporting Ashoka Greece for the "Destination: Change. New Solutions for Greece" competition. More than 90 projects were submitted till May 19th, when we reached deadline. As you can see, participation to the competition was trully high!
The competition entries focus on the following areas of social impact:
- Social and economic inclusion of vulnerable populations - 50 projects
- Innovations for access to healthcare - 19 projects
- Strengthening communities through environmental solutions - 25 projects
- Supporting healthy and active aging - 6 projects

A panel of expert judges will select the winners of the competition. among them Mr. Manos Raptopoulos, COO Head South Europe & Managing Director for SAP Hellas, Cyprus and Malta. The projects will be scored based on the Ashoka Changemakers critiria, which are innovation, social impact and sustainability. One entry in each category will receive an award of €10,000, and one of these winners will receive SAP® Business One software with licenses for 3 users and training on using this software. Winners will be announced in July.
