There can be several inconsistencies in LMDB of Solman Systems. One such inconsistency can be with SIDs/Extended SIDs for any product.
If the SID/Extended SID is not SAP compliant , there will be runtime errors on your Solman System. You should periodically check for inconsistency and clean them up. If the Extended SIDs are not deleted even though its corresponding technical system is deleted, it is called "Orphan".
Report "AI_LMDB_EXTSID_CONSISTENCY" helps you to clean up orphans and inconsistent SIDs/Extended SIDs. This displays and resolves inconsistencies automatically.
You can avoid the Runtime Error - "OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED" if you do this periodic check.
Best would be to schedule a job which runs this program with some periodicity.
