We're just a few weeks away from the SAP BusinessObjects User Conference, and I must say, I can't fight this feeling any more ( REO Speedwagon in the house Wednesday night!)

There are so many amazing things to see, do, and learn at this event.  The ASUG Developer Wars, which were absolutely fantastic last year, the Influencer Summit (held Sunday evening), networking opportunities, the Keynotes and Town Hall sessions, the Partner showcase, the concert (I think I mentioned that all ready :smile: ), and let's not forget about the fantastic educational sessions.

Simplifying Troubleshooting for Web Intelligence Users

What happens when you refresh/run the Webi report? What happens when the Webi report is scheduled? When and where does the Adaptive Processing server come into picture while running Webi reports? Why are migrated Webi reports from XI3.1 running slower in XI4.0? If these and other similar questions trouble you as a Webi user, this presentation is for you. Most users are eager to resolve or, at least narrow down their problems whenever they come across issues with Webi reports. They often feel handicapped as they are not aware of services involved during each workflow performed. Web Intelligence Everywhere for Everyone: The RESTful Raylight SDK

The BI 4.x Raylight RESTful API introduces a language-agnostic, low-barrier-of-entry programmatic modification and management feature for Web  ntelligence documents. With a basic understanding of HTTP and XML, you now have control over document creation, query generation, visual styles, and scheduling. Easily manage a collection of WebI documents via batch processing scripts to standardize document contents and data sources. The new features introduced with the BI 4.1 implementation in many ways go beyond the limitations in the ReportEngine SDK available with XI 3.1 and previous versions. Having worked with this API over the past year, the presenter will describe tips and tricks, best practices, and design patterns you can utilize to quickly get up to speed and take Web Intelligence beyond the confines of what is available out-of-the-box.
