SIT event can be articulated as  a Knowledge sharing and gaining event, which can be termed as “everyone at benefit”. It is a platform for enthusiastic speakers to share their experience and participants to gain insights from experts and volunteers to get an opportunity to interact with everybody in the process of extending support. Speakers from  SAP labs is an added delight to the event. Interaction with them really helps in getting doubts clarified and also gives a glimpse of what is in pipeline from SAP.

The topics covered in one day at SIT event, acts like index pointers to explore upon till the next event pops in.  It is a road map to plan the career in line with the new trends of SAP.

Especially to the participants who come from a very small companies, having limited exposure to new trends in SAP and   their scope of project being limited to domestic  arena ,  gets an opportunity to gain great insights from speakers  through use-cases and live demos.  Networking hour gives them a chance to establish new contacts and at the same time gets an opportunity to represent their company.

SIT Hyderabad 2015 event hosted by Deloitte.

Congratulations! Another incredible event hosted by Deloitte Consulting India Pvt. Ltd in the interests of knowledge savvies is a grand success with the steering of Ranga Davala and Team.

The event kicked off with lot of enthusiasm with an encouraging note from Deloitte Director, Sr. Managers and VP – SAP labs, Bangalore.

It was great to be a part of User Experience & Mobility and Development Tracks.  The Speakers not only shared use cases, but also have given live demos which really helped us in better understanding.  The sessions went on in an interactive mode with which we could understand topics with different perspectives.

As a Volunteer

I was very much excited to play dual role as Volunteer and Participant. It was a joyous moment to connect with unknown and reconnect with known members of SAP community.

It definitely boosts up and gives me a feeling that I could also get involved in such a great event.

So, what’s next?  Wish to be speaker in upcoming events

Abstract Goal turned out to be Concrete...

I would like to recall the first session that I attended on Screen Personas 2.0 at SIT HYD'2014 and the presenters were Mr. Pallayya and Mr. Gurupreet Chabda from Deloitte.  Though it is being pretty new topic to me, the clear cut explanation from presenters created an interest to take it forward. But, due to technical implications could not move further at that time.

Over a period of time I tried to gather the information on the new version i.e Screen Personas 3.0, and was very excited to know that Screen Personas 3.0 topic is a part of SIT HYD'2015. Thank you so much presenters for clarifying doubts and sharing the experiences on the same.  Now I can conclude that “my abstract intentions of giving a presentation to existing client on Screen personas has turned out to be concrete and started working on the same.”

Bottom line is, we may explore a lot of new technologies but our confidence levels boosts up when we gain the knowledge directly from an experienced speakers.

Reach out

The importance of SIT has to reach out many more and let’s share information of these events in many groups and make sure that it reaches the SAP professionals who work in small and medium companies.

Suggestions

Knowing targeted audience (beginners or mid level) in advance for each topic would be helpful for both presenter and participant.  If the topic coverage is same for two levels of targeted audience, beginners or fresher may not understand it if it is little advanced and vice-versa.

My First SIT HYD event (Feb’2014) :: Hosted by Deloitte Consulting India Pvt. Ltd.

The buzz word “SIT” and its reach out, was known to me through Mr. Ranga Davala. Thank you so much, it really helped me in getting into SAP community and add many more to the same.

It was nice to meet Mr. Mahesh Kumar CV, who was a part of organizing team.  I got motivated to take up next step as volunteer in upcoming events and was happy to be a volunteer in SIT HYD'2015.

We gained a lot of insights and new trends in SAP from Mr. Sundaresan Krishnamurthy (Product Manager from SAP Labs) and got clarification for all our queries in Networking Hour. It really enhances our passion for SAP and builds the confidence on the support that SAP extends.

Next SIT Hyderabad (Sep’2014):: Hosted by TCS, Hyderabad

It was another event that gave us lot of insights on new trends. I was overwhelmed to see such a huge participation though it being on jolly day ‘Saturday’.   I shall congratulate Mr. Mahesh Kumar CV for being part of organizing team and making it ultra-success with great energy levels.

Conclusion: The Year 2015 ended on a successful note by gaining knowledge in new SAP technologies and implementations and network with fellow SAP professionals. As mentioned in key note of SIT HYD’2015”, I feel the focus of SAP professional to be ” Un-Learn, Learn and Re-learn to gain new skills”.

WISH YOU A VERY HAPPY & PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR’ 2016
