At the last SAP Network Hamburg meeting at the end of August 2013, I introduced the SAP community in Hamburg, Germany about the SAP HANA appliance. The event was sold out one hour after the invitation was published and the participants were very excited about the topic. For most of them it was the first time to have a look at HANA.First I gave an overview about the HANA functionality. On the basis of two concrete examples based on HANA trials everyone could get an idea about the advantages and the great performance benefit of the appliance.
