At SAP’s 2014 Las Vegas Field Kick-Off Meeting (FKOM), an incentive was launched for employees to collect “passport” signatures from colleagues in Marketing and Corporate Affairs. For each passport received, $10 would be donated to a charitable cause. With the funds collected, the Marketing team decided to go one step beyond – to not only make a donation, but also maximize SAP’s most valuable asset – our people. So, from Silicon Valley to Newtown Square and NYC, Vancouver to Mexico and Colombia, the Marketing and CSR have joined forces to organize skills based volunteering events across the region this week through the end of May with local nonprofits and institutions driving education for girls in technology.
Today, four girls from Eastside College Preparatory School ranging from freshmen to seniors are visiting SAP's Palo Alto Labs campus to discuss career paths in tech as a woman with joan.sherlock
