Hi expert,

I have some queries regarding installation.

When give an installation how can I identify whether it is a technical installation or a billing-related installtion.

Which table can be used to indetify the installation type?

Also What exactly is a full-installation?

In the case of a technical installation, a device is linked to a device location. In the case of a billing-related installation, the device is linked to a utility installation. A device must first be installed in a device location before it can be allocated to several installations.

Full installation enables you to link a device to both a device location and a service installation in one step.

In technical installation: 1. Just define technical information of device ( meter reading,periodic consumption,no. of days etc.)

2. The device is installed in the device location. This corresponds to the installation of a piece of equipment in a functional location.

3. The system stores technical data for the register.

4.Device relationships may have been created and a device location is created.

In Billing-related Insatallation: 1. Define rate type for particular customer etc. information.

2. The device is allocated to an installation for billing.

3. The system creates billing-related data for the device and registers of the installation.

4. The device can be billed.

Full installation : 1. The device is installed in the device location with respect to technical data.

2. The device is allocated to an installation for billing.

( In full installation both Technical and bill related installation perform in one step)

Tables usefull for Installation : EANL, EANLH, EVER , ETTIFN etc.

tabke for installation is EANL

in this table select field ANLART its for inst types and clecik where used list u get list of tables where its used

and the table for inst type is TE439,TE439T

Simple way 2 describe vats full installation is

fullinst is the single step which includes both tech and billin installation

allways choose this option for ur billing cycles.

use individual processes like technical inst and billing inst indiviualyy only when scenario needs it.in help.sap.com there is a good expample where its used refer it.

fullinstallaiton is not a mandatory step for making a movein ..fullinstalation is nothing but u r actually fixing a meter in the presmie tats the meanig in simple terms.

where as instalation es30 is the classifcation of a billing class and rate category and here u cna see there is no device data when u perform a installaiton initailly only after full installaiton or technical inst u can see the device tab active for seeingg device details

Simple solution to find is

if only device, connection object , or device location details exists that has technical installation

if u have business partnet detaisl exists that has billable installations..

Frequently there wil be cases where as mulitple times tech installations done , consists no of devices available, and if u have done multiplw partners allloted to same partner , may have done billable instllations..

Hi,

Your query # 3 is answered as above.. I would like give few more inputs on queries 1 & 2.

You can get details on whether the installation is Billing related or not from table EASTS. Check out field ZWNABR.

Also, you can find the from Installation --> Devices --> Regsiter Data --> Not Relevant Billing check box.
