after a clean installation I cannot connect to my server via SAP GUI 7.4 installed on the appserver Netweaver 7.5 this is the message from SAP GUI

Hi Luis

1.please, check if any firewall is present in your application server.

2.if your GUI and application installed on same machine then try use "localhost" instead of any ip

Hi Luis.

1. From the client are you able to ping the app server & main instance hosts? try ping 10.0.06 ?

2. Check the client system (SAPGUI system) firewall settings.

Hello Luis,

Does the error occur after you are connected for some time? Or right when you are trying to logon?

Is there anything written at the Dispatcher trace file (dev_disp) around the time the error is raised at the SAP GUI?

Do you have entries maintained for dispatcher, message server and gateway in services file present at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
