System Integration Testing

Hi Guys,

I'm new to the BW System Testing Part. Now i am involving in system testing by identifying test scenarios and test cases. We are using flat files for master data and transactiona data.

could anybold tell how to identify the test scenarios for system testing based on reports and what are the process steps that are involved in preparing test cases.

Your test sceneraios should focus on the requirements and also on the design.

You should cover rthe following:

1. data reconciliation

2. transformation , filters to test how the business logic is applied.

3. run reports with different variable values.

4. stress test / performanc test.

5. data load test and consistency checks.

6. handling user queries.

Since these documents are private and protected, you may not find much documentation.
