Split Data based on Percentage from Control Table

Hi HANA Experts,

I am new to SCN and I am working on a HANA project. One of the requirement I have is to show the data as in the result table below. Is this something possible in HANA Studio. Note the data should be calculated on the fly.

Sure that is possible.

Your example output can be created by just joining Table 1 with Table on the "Customer" column.

With that, you get the SALES_AUD and the PERCENTAGE for every customer.

Just multiply these two and you get all the columns you need for your output.

That's just simple SQL that is not at all specific to HANA or any other SQL DBMS.

General remarks: HANA Studio is not the tool you should be using to generate reports. It's not even the recommended tool for modelling calc views or CDS views anymore (Web-Based IDE or WebIDE are the tools of choice).
