Dear Team,

You don't need to do a reset on all the subscriptions to change a remote source's configuration; you only need to suspend the remote source. This behavior is well-documented in the following Help Portal pages and KBAs:

Alter Remote Source Parameters (Help Portal)

SDI :Trying to set "Steaming parameter" for for the ABAPAdapter: [645]: remote source has active remote subscriptions: (KBA)

SDI: Error SAP DBTech JDBC [645] remote source has active remote subscriptions This property can not be altered cdb_enabled (KBA)

Best regards,
SAP Support

Hi SAP,

We are fetching data from SAP ECC to HANA via Smart Data Integration (SDI). After an S4 upgrade, we are unable to modify the host and port number in the existing remote source and CDC is not happening. We are receiving the following error message in the console:

"remote source has active remote subscriptions: This property cannot be altered: port"

Could you please help us how to modify the remote source details without doing a drop and reload.

Thank you!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Learn more about the SAP Support user and program here.

We have followed the below steps but still we got the same error "remote source has active remote subscriptions: This property cannot be altered: port" 1. we suspended the capture and distribution in remote source 2. we modify the host and port number and entered the credentials 3. while saving the change we are the getting the same error.
