Document Information Extraction - XML File Support - Error E30

Hello everyone,

I am trying to process XML Invoices via . According to the documentation, filetype XML is supposed to be supported for invoices. When trying to upload XML Files via the Web-UI, an Error-Message is shown, describing "Error: Files of this filetype can not be processed (Code: E30).

After further inspecting the network traffic, HTTP RC 415 - Unsupported Media Type is returned for Content type text/xml.
Can somebody assist here? Already tried multiple different Instances & XML Files.

sorry, this appears to be a bug. We will provide a fix for it in our next regular release (will be in production in end of April/early May).

Hi JStrobl,

sorry, we still need a bit more time to fix it. Please note, though, that the XML support only applies to Excel XML files (see also https://help.sap.com/docs/document-information-extraction/document-information-extraction/supported-file-types-premium-edition). Hope that is what you are testing. If, however, you are looking for other XML files to be supported, please let us know.
