Text Element Formatting in Smart Forms

In a SmartForm text element (format: **HL**), I have added the following line:

<B8> &V_BILL_TEXT& N° &IS_ZINVOICE-ADDS_INFO-XBLNR&</>

However, when I view the output or go back into the editor, the system automatically modifies the line by adding multiple nested `<B8>` tags, like this:

HL <B8> &V_BILL_TEXT&<B8><B8><B8><B8><B8><B8> N°
&IS_ZINVOICE-ADDS_INFO-XBLNR&</></></></></></></>

Why this automatic tag duplication is happening. How to fix this?

Which editor are you using? Possible editors: line editor (backend editor), Smart Forms editor, MS Word. Where does "HL" come from? About the tag duplication, check the SAP notes or contact SAP Support. I don't know the bug but I already saw it once in my system (but with less tag duplications) and could solve by just rewriting it via the line editor.
