Thanks for the quick reply. It seems this behaviour is caused when the website jumps to another IP address.... I will dig deeper....

Hello,

I have a pretty straightforward saprouter config file.
P * * *
and some lines
P <ip> website.domain 443

It works just fine, BUT after a few days the router starts denying https access.
I looked at all logs, nothing restarted the router or renewed its access table.

If I commit: saprouter -n
It is fine again and it is working fine for a few days.

I installed the latest version, but the problem persists.

What could be the reason?

Thanks!
I.G.

Hi IG

1. Check the dev_rout file for any error message.

2. Check with the network team from the outside to inside firewall access.

Regards

SS

When the -D option is not used, saprouter makes a reversed DNS check. Perhaps this contradicts with the Linux DNS cache. On the other hand reverse DNS check may not always return the same host. Probably it is better to use -D.
