Question Re: MDG document storeage in Technology Q&A

Hi

In SAP, documents related to change requests are typically stored in the SAP Content Server or a linked Document Management System (DMS). The table USMD1211 links documents to change requests, but the physical storage is usually managed externally (e.g., in DMS tables like `DRAD` for attachments). To download documents in bulk, you can use SAP's Archive Link or a custom ABAP program that accesses the DMS content.

you can refer to the following SAP documentation:
SAP Content Server Documentation: http://help.sap.com/viewer/product/SAP_CONTENT_SERVER

SAP Archive Link Documentation: http://help.sap.com/viewer/product/SAP_ARCHIVELINK

SAP Document Management System (DMS): http://help.sap.com/viewer/product/SAP_DOCUMENT_MANAGEMENT_SYSTEM

Dear community,

I have a question regarding documents on the change request.
Where are the documents physically stored in SAP? The table USMD1211 shows for which change request there are documents, but not where they are stored in the SAP memory. Is there a way to download the documents in bulk?

Regards

Isabelle
