Data locking in measures

Hi,

I’m working on a project where I need to lock three specific measures. My model consists of two dimensions and four measures, but I want to ensure that no one can edit three of those measures.

Is there a way to lock these specific measures? What approach should I take to solve this?

You can configure and use SAC data lock feature to lock 3 measures. please check this help page for details:

Hello,

If it's front end changes you want to prevent, then you can use a styling rule to set some of the measures to "read only", while allowing others to be editable.

Thanks for the reply, but if it's about 1000 lines of data, there must be a way to lock them.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any example? I can only see this working through driving dimensions, but I just want to lock 3 and leave one open for editing.

I'm not sure what example you need, but you can just add measure as locking dimension in data locking configuration screen, and then you shuld be able to lock 3 measures as part of standard functionality.

Sorry, I'm kinda new to SAC. I didn’t notice the measures in the last line; I only saw dimensions and assumed it was only for dimensions. Thanks for your answer!
