Have u tried to edit the s/w component version in ESR? what error message you are getting?

Hi Varri,

Standard SWC can't be changed, you would need to copy it to customer one.

Own SWC can be changed if you mark the next checkbox and you activate the change later:

Hi Naidu,

Standard SC's can not be changed you need to copy it to new.if it is customised you need to check the option objects are modifiable then you would be able to.

Yes,I had tried to edit the s/w component in ESR,but getting s/w component cann't be changed

Hi Varri,

Click on the SWCV in ESR.

Check the boxes Objects are original objects and objects are Modifiable.

Then Put the System SID IN System and the Client in the Client.

Save. It will allow you to edit the SWCV.

If Netweaver PI 7.4, the SWCV properties are displayed. How do I change it?
