Implement Authorization check in SAP Build Apps

I created and deployed an application using Build apps. The authentication is happening thru BTP authentication. But, I also need to add authorization checks and allow a set of users only to access the application. What is the most recommended way for Build apps to apply authorization check for access restriction?

Best I understand it, the best access control you can get to which of your users can access the app is having it deployed in a sub-account with only those users.

Depending on your backend, you could also limit access from the backend and use that to check in the frontend whether or not user should be getting into the app. This will at least prevent unwelcome users from accessing meaningful information even if they do find this app.

Thanks merituulimelkko for the details. I also contacted the Build product team and they confirmed the same. They informed that this feature will be available in Build apps on Q1 2024 as per the current roadmap.

Hi Souvik, now also I could not find it, even though general access is marked to Project Members only .. others also can get into the app from Builds Lobby. Should we do anything from the Build WorkZone ?
