how to Implement complicated logic in planning function?

Hi experts,

We have been implementing complex business logics with calculation views over the past few months.

However, due to various reasons and changes in development direction, we have to re-implement the logics implemented as calculation view as planning function.

The problem is that complex logic, such as join clauses, partition by clauses, group by clauses and the free addition of new temporary-column, is very difficult to re-implement as planning function.

Also, frequent calls of function module cause low performance.

A better alternative would be to run calculation view on copy function.

But, BPC experts on our project say this is not a proper way with BPC perspective.

i want to ask your opinion on this situation.
