Hi Giot Bill,

I see somthing strang in the second try with american format. It still says in the error message that: The value 22/1/2022 cannot be formatted as date.

Is there any chance that you are not updating the right excel?

Best regards,

Samir Hamichi

Date Format Excel Build Process Automation

I am following the learning journey of SAP Build and came across a date format error:

The Excel Data:

I tried multiple date formats but none of them work.

How can I make sure that the date is readable without having to change the Excel file? (it loses it's purpose if we have to change it every time an excel file comes in)

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your quick response!

I tried it but it doesn't seem to work either:

Hi Samir Hamichi,

I tested it again. What I notice is there is no date format like "yyyyddmm".

I changed the format to a custom format "yyyyddmm".

But this still gives me the error.

Best Regards,

Bill Giot
