SAP GUI for JAVA (aka Failure) display variable issue in debugger

Environment:

SAP: SAP GUI for Java 7.80 rev 2

OS: OS X Sonoma 14.0

I selct variable, and copied it to vs code (cuz SAP GUI is not capable of displaying json string as formatted. )

copied string and pasted to vscode, did my checks.

and turn back to SAP GUI for JAVA, ohhhh not responding.

Right-click and Force Quit and run the program again, stop same place to do further checks. . ( Starting same thing from beginning again and again is known as time lost. )

In case you are using input methods, you might be affected by a known bug in the JDK, see SAP note 2989892 :

When using input methods, it can happen that on screens showing html content, the SAP GUI suddenly hangs because of a dead lock. This is a known issue in the Java runtime and OpenJFX, please refer to JDK-8221261. This can be avoided by changing the input source before navigating to an affected screen.

In general, I would recommend to install SAP GUI for Java 7.80 rev 5, since this is the first revision officially supporting macOS Sonoma (see SAP note 3385617).
