Question Re: IDOC Material Master general data only in Technology Q&A

Hi Tim,

If you are using something like /SAPMP/MATMAS in BD10 for instance then you could make use of BADI 'BADI_MATMAS_ALE_CR' or BTE 'MGV00100' to filter unwanted segments. Personally, I'd always opt for the BADI option, but the BTE also serves the same function. I also see FM 'EXIT_SAPLMV01_002' in our system version, but I'd consider that the last option inside the system. Another option without introducing new enhancements to the system would be to filter them in the middleware with simple XSLT mappings or some other equivalent.

Regards,

Ryan Crosby

Hi experts,

we want to send material data via IDOC to another SAP system.
How can we achieve, that only specific views (e.g. general data 1 & 2) are transfered?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards

Tim
