SP 33 64 Bit Runtime

Created a new winforms application in .Net Framework 4.8 in VS 2022 which targets x64 (any CPU NOT checked).

Followed instructions in blog and installed SP33 on my dev machine (Windows Server 2019).

Application works properly in dev.

Copied the application .exe to production (Windows Server 2019) which does not have any Crystal runtimes installed.

How do I install the 64 bit runtime files to the production server? Attempted to install CRforVS13SP29_0-10010309.EXE but VS 2022 won't be on the production server.

The .exe is for integration with Visual Studio only. There are various forms of runtime installs that are available for deploying your application. Click on the "softwaredownloads" link in the wiki to get to the downloads page. Set the following uoptions and click on "GO":

This is an older image that shows SP31 - you want SP33, which is what now appears at the top of the list. There are several types of runtime installs - 32-bit, 64-bit, .msi, click-once, etc. You probably want the 64-bit .msi (which may be in a zip file).

You must be logged in to the server with Administrator privileges to get the install to work correctly.

Thank you! I incorrectly assumed that "SAP Crystal Reports for Visual Studio" was the wrong option to choose on the downloads page. Got it now.
