SAPui5 application not working in the Microsoft Edge

Hi Experts,

We have deployed one custom SAPUI5 application.

It is working absolutely fine on the Chrome Browser.

But when we run the application on Microsoft Edge It does not load,

sapui5 version : 1.71.43

in IE console(F12):

And the Error is coming exactly at the line number 24 in the Component.js

i.e UIComponent.prototype.init.apply(this, arguments);

Please review the documentation topic Browser and Platform Support. Accordingly:

Legacy Microsoft Edge based on EdgeHTML (not Blink/Chromium) is not one of the supported browsers.
Internet Explorer (IE) is no longer supported either, no matter which SAPUI5 version.
IE mode of MS Edge was never supported by SAPUI5.

I can see from your reply that your organization has configured the Fiori launchpad (FLP) site to run in IE mode.

--> Get in touch with your administrator, who is responsible for registering sites to run in IE mode, and inform that person that UI5 apps (incl. FLP) do not support Internet Explorer.

thanks for helping me.

But what ever issue which i am facing it is in the Microsoft Edge 107.0.1418.35 and it is Chromium.

durgaprasanth.vemula It looks like the screenshots from the devtool is from IE11. Or what is an "IE console" exactly?

Are the screenshots taken from Edge with IE11 mode enabled? Because that was also never supported by UI5 according to the documentation.

Due to Some reason i am not getting the Option Inspect in the Microsoft Edge.

Open the Fiori launchpad site in that Microsoft Edge where the problem occurs
Open the console (F12), and let us know what the following inputs return:

!!globalThis.navigator?.userAgentData?.brands?.some(brand => brand.brand === "Chromium")

```
sap.ui.Device.browser

durgaprasanth.vemula As the sap.ui.Device.browser confirms, the launchpad in your Edge browser is most likely in an IE mode. Do you see the Internet Explorer icon indicator in the left-hand side of the browser's address bar area?
