Hello pruizpascual,

I am afraid this is product limitation. Transport of team level security is not yet supported.

We manually updated team assignment in target system for now. Not idle!

There are many similar enhancement request created in past. Here are couple of them -

LCM: To be able to include related security & permissions on folders when content is exported

Improving transport of teams

Transport team and security parameters

On a side note you can import teams via Content Network, just not the object level security assignments.

Transport Your Private Content Through Content Network Storage

Team folder is available under system folder.

Usually compliance policies are specific to a given company, some allow import/ export under company network. Some do not have any restriction what so ever.Best option for you would be to go with Export/ Import option. If you
are doing this under company network, as per your company compliance
policy then this is a better option in your case.

Don't forget to up-vote and accept, if it helped. 🙂

Vijayeta

Good afternoon,

I have to move a series of models, stories and data actions I want to move from one tennant to another one.

My stories and models have teams associated to them, but as far as I know, content network will only transport the teams without the assignation to the stories, while via import export, the assignation will be kept.

It takes around one hour to manyally reassign them all through if I take the content network route, is there any recommendation for or against export/import? Content network already makes me split everything in 5 packages due to size so I'm looking for advice on what would be the best practice here,

Thanks you in advance

Hi Pol,

My best practice is to first export 'new' teams from the source tenants via the content network and import them to the target tenant. Once teams are available in the target tenant the import via the content network of stories, models, data actions, etc. should keep the sharing settings from the source tenant if the objects are new.

Kind regards,

Martijn van Foeken | Interdobs
