Solution Manager 7.2 - Stack Update 10 to 15

Hello.

We are planning to upgrade the Solution Manager 7.2 (HANA 2.0) support package level from stack 10 to stack 15. I understand that I need to generate the MP in the maintenance planner for ABAP and Java. I read note 3150425 3150425 - Solution Manager 7.2 SP Stack 15: recommended corrections and as a recommendation it asks to update SAP CR CONTENT . What's not clear to me is if there are any more steps needed before starting the upgrade and/or what would be the steps to take in Solman_setup after the support package upgrade? Do I need to redo the System Preparation, Infrastructure and Basic Configuration steps again?

I'm not sure what the post-update steps of the support package in Solution Manager would be.

Yes, you need to execute again SOLMAN_SETUP. But the steps that need to be re-executed are a small portion (around a dozen...)

Can you tell me what these dozen steps are? Or is it enough for me to access Solman_setup, apply the main note sap and check where it appears with warning or error?

You need to follow release notes and update guides (for Abap, Java AS) which you can find using this Guide Finder:

All required steps are indicated there.

And, yes, you need to redo activities in SOLMAN_SETUP. Just check and the required activities will be marked for re-execution.
