Hide Breadcrumb from Dynamic Page Header

Hello SAP Fiori Elements Experts,

the SAP Fiori Design Guidelines define the Breadcrumb section in the Dynamic Page Header as optional. So my question is how can I hide the Breadcrumb?

If you are talking about the "Fiori Elements" Object page - Dynamic header, it is default and not optional.

The link you have shared is about general fiori object page principles.

so probably you have to use ui5 code to hide it? not sure though..

Hi Mahesh,

thank you for your comment. The page I've linked is for the Floorplans. And I would think that Fiori Elements implements this floorplans. So I still have some hope that someone from SAP jumps in here. Maybe stefanie.runde can direct this question to the right ones in the Fiori Elements Team.

Hi Gregor,

SAP Fiori elements implements the most common features of a general SAP Fiori floorplan. This scope has been largely defined by what we needed to build SAP S/4HANA Fiori apps. So there can be differences between the general SAP Fiori design guideline and the SAP Fiori elements framework scope of this guideline - like in this case where we don't want our SAP internal developers to have the option to disable breadcrumbs for sake of UX consistency.

I don't know if there is a workaround / trick to disable the breadcrumbs, but I will check our architects tomorrow. Is this an OData V2 or V4 based app? Can you tell me a bit about why you want to disable it?

We're using CAP Node.JS and already have the V2 proxy in place. So V2 and V4 is possible.

In an OData V4 based app, you can use a manifest setting

Unfortunately not yet documented, we have addressed this.
