Deploy multiple SCA files

Hello,

I need to deploy SCA files of several components in our AS Java systems in order to patch security vulnerabilities. In the past I have done this using Telnet, but only applying one SCA at a time. I was wondering if there is a way to apply multiple SCA files at once, in order to save time and system restarts.

once upon a time I used SAP Netweaver Developer Studio (Eclipse + SAP JAVA Add-Ons) for this. There is a Deployment View that support masse deployments. NWDS in Wiki

People who manage systems on OS level would typically use SUM (I assume, never done so myself): SUM in Wiki

Try telnet:
SAP KBA ##2462712 - Deploy/undeploy set of EAR/WAR/RAR/SDA files using SAP Shell Console Admin via telnet

Or use NWDS (you can add multiple SCAs)

SAP KBA ##1715441 - Deploy/Undeploy/Force Redeploy EAR/SDA/SCA files on SAP AS JAVA

Hi lutz.rottmann2 , thanks for your suggestions.

I forgot to mention that SUM is an option that we considered, but it is a more complicated solution that we hoped. I use SUM mostly for major system upgrades.

NWDS sounds like a good option, I will check it out tomorrow.
