Refresh missing due to a missing Priveledge

All,

This is first time encountering this error on a SAC Load. (BW Load). This load has been scheduled hourly for some time with no issue.

This error has surfaced but is not consistent. Researching around I found this note 2923615 but it is not available anymore.

Any previous documentation was from mid last year. Are there any solutions?

Couldn't refresh because a privilege is missing. Check the System Monitor Trace for possible causes.

Have you checked if there are any further details among entries in System -> Monitor -> Trace?

Greetings vineetbaid,

I would start by redefining the current job and double checking credentials using the following SAP note as a reference

2885847 - Failed to refresh import jobs in the model after user or password changed in data source system in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Kindly advise if you have already went through this and let us know the results.

Was working after setting the following privileges in SAC role:

- Other Datasources / Execute

- Connection / Read and Maintain

Sorry all I forgot to update this ticket. This is still not fixed however there is a workaround, but is tedious.

1) Log in as user who needs to manually refresh the load

2) Obtain the Admin account username and password. ie SACADMIN & AdminPassword

3) Edit the Connection and re-login with the Admin credentials. If a load is created after using the same connection you made have to follow the same steps.

Hoping this gets resolved soon.
