Question Re: run flowgraph from a procedure in Technology Q&A

The hdbflowgraph is the designtime object. When activated, one or two tasks and Hana stored procedures are created. And these can be called from SQL.

Give it a try. I the flowgraph editor, there is the option to run a flowgraph. This will show you the SQL command to execute.

Note: I am talking with the XSC or XSA editor in mind. Not sure if something changed with BAS.

hello community,

I am currently exploring the objects in Business Application Studio and some questions arose which I do not know if I have searched in the correct way.

The questions are:

how can I execute a flowchart from a hdbprocedure?

and in a hdbprocedure can another procedure be executed?

Example, I have FG_PRUEBA.hdbflowgraph and I need to activate it when I run the procedure SP_FGEXECU.hdb

or create a schedule for the flowgraph

Thank you for your answers

Bests regards

Create a Hana scheduler with the task that you have created(flow graphs or any tasks).

CALL "<package_name>::<flowgraph_name>_SP"

You can also do it using REST APIs.
