Question Re: Using Dynamic memory in SAP Conversational AI in Technology Q&A

Hi Ajeya,

the skill requirements are currently designed in a way that already present memory information takes priority over new information. Meaning for the above case, the "OrderId" is already present from the first input therefore "#order-id" will not replace the existing value. With that approach it is possible to have multiple requirements that ask for the same entity type - e.g. departure and arrival location for a book-flight skill etc.

However, to resolve the situation it might make sense to clear certain memory fields at the end of a skill, if it is clear that they are not needed anymore. Add a new action - "update conversation" -> "edit memory" and there use the "unset memory field" to clear "OrderId".

Best regards,
Stephan
